Skydivers falling just as the parachute is pulled.

On Saturday Hallam Land, or more specifically Iain MacSween (after various colleagues had mysterious diary clashes…), took part in a Skydive to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital, who look after very poorly children throughout the country and undertake pioneering surgery to save young lives.

Along with various other bold novices Iain jumped from just under 15,000 feet at and fell back to earth at 120mph with about a minute of freefall.

Once he had recovered Iain said

“I don’t think I’ll do that again. Next time I will definitely just join the team walking up a hill, even if it is overnight. Being serious though, it was an amazing experience and it is a brilliant cause that I am really pleased to help raise some funds for and I am very grateful to all those that donated.”
