Strategic land promotion through planning.

Throughout 2022 Hallam Land Management has been collaborating and supporting local community and educational partners to create meaningful and lasting impact in the areas we operate in. We recognise that by actively engaging with the community we are able to create lasting partnerships that not only helps support but can share skill sets to the next generation.

Community Support

In May 2022, the HLM South Eastern and South regions participated in a team beach clean at Jubilee Beach Southend. The beach clean was organised by Hallam Land’s Nikki Woodward with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS); a not-for-profit organisation who work with businesses, governments and communities to clean and protect oceans.

Educational Support

In October, Chris Gowlett and Lindsay Salvin arranged a half day workshop at our head office for students from Sheffield Hallam University. The workshop gave students an overview of Hallam Land, as well as covering current planning and development issues, whilst highlighting potential career options and opportunities they may wish to pursue in the future.
