Two members of our North Midlands Team, Dena, and Lindsay, were given the opportunity to participate in a day of volunteering at Greno Woods Nature Reserve alongside The Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust and other passionate volunteers.

The goal of the day was to engage in various activities that promote the conservation of the woodland’s natural environment. Dena, Lindsay and other volunteers were assigned the task of removing bracken from the pathways, which was hard work. They also learnt about the conservation of the woodland and the introduction of non-native conifers in the 50s.  Nevertheless, they enjoyed the opportunity to escape the office and bask in the warmth of the sun while contributing to the preservation of the striking natural landscape.
