Site extending to 70 acres in total. Hallam Land identified a shortfall in the Edinburgh Housing Land Supply and submitted an outline application to City of Edinburgh Council in 2010.
A full project team was appointed to assemble the planning application including Planning Consultant, Landscape Designer, Ecologist, Civil & Structural Engineer and Transport Consultant.
An Outline Application for up to 190 units was refused by CEC, however consent was granted at appeal in 2014.
The site was fully marketed and a competitive closing date and following further negotiations, Barrat Homes were selected as preferred bidder and the first phase of the site was sold on an unconditional basis. The remaining phases have all since achieved planning consent and have subsequently been built out.
