Hallam Land promoted the site on behalf of both Burford School and a local Burford charity.

The site secured planning permission for 91 plots and 5.2 acres of care provision, including 78 assisted/supported living apartments and an (up to) 90-bed care home. Both landowners wanted a high-quality residential development that provided open market, affordable, care and assisted living accommodation.
