Hallam Land controlled 22 acres of this 68 acre scheme in Harrogate Borough, having entered into a Planning Promotion Agreement with one of the scheme’s landowners.
Working closely with a national developer who controlled the balance of the site, Hallam Land secured planning permission that included 600 plots, a Primary School and community/retail facilities. Working with a third-party developer helped to accelerate the planning process while avoiding the need to enter a Collaboration or pooling agreement.
Hallam Land sold its interest to Persimmon Homes, after securing Reserved Matters Approval for 233 plots on its proportion of the scheme.
