Hallam agreed terms with the landowners to promote the site in 2015. Hallam spotted the opportunity to submit an early application and secured approval for the construction of 200 houses and the conversion of 2 listed barns in December 2015. Hallam subsequently submitted a planning viability argument to the reduce the level of affordable housing from 40%, a condition that was required by the Council at the time. The Council refused the viability application however Hallam successfully appealed against the refusal and reduced the requirement of affordable housing to 27%. The site was sold to Harron Homes in 2018.
