Planning permission for 130 homes in Blandford

Hallam Land has secured planning permission on appeal for 130 homes in Blandford, Dorset.

In 2018, Hallam Land agreed a promotion agreement on a site before submitting an outline application for the site.  Hallam Land successfully secured a planning consent on appeal in May 2025.

The planning consent for the site includes 130 homes (30% affordable), new local play area, and an extension to the Dorset Trailway which is a walking and cycle path along an old railway line. The Biodiversity Net Gain calculation forecasts at a 10% net gain for surrounding habitats.
